About IFS (International Featuered Standard Food):
The International Featured Standard IFS Food is a European standard which was especially developed for the food industry, which delievers private label products to trading concerns. Since 2003 it controls and certifies systems to guarantee food safety as well as the quality and conformity of food production. It is based on the established quality management norm ISO 9001:2000 and furthermore includes the principles of GMP ans HACCP.
